Jarjish Rahaman, Doctoral Candidate 3 (DC3) of CONcISE Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Doctoral Network (MSCA-DN), presented his research poster, “Spatial and temporal modulation in time-domain diffuse optical tomography,” at the 5th IMA Conference on Inverse Problems: From Theory to Application in London, UK, from 8–10 September 2026. The conference was organised by the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (IMA). It brought together researchers from mathematics, physics, engineering, and related disciplines to discuss recent advances in inverse problems and their applications. His poster focused on time-domain diffuse optical tomography, a non-invasive optical imaging technique for studying biological structures using visible and near-infrared light, with potential applications in biomedical imaging. The conference offered a good opportunity to present his work to an international audience, engage in scientific discussions, and connect with researchers working on inverse problems and optical imaging. His participation also highlights the research activities of the CONcISE MSCA Doctoral Network and its commitment to developing interdisciplinary research and training in computational and scientific imaging.
