Today, Samuel I. Zapata‑Valencia (DC7) took part in the celebration of the International Day of Light at Universitat Jaume I. As part of the outreach activities, he contributed to an optics show where he presented interference experiments to visitors.
The video shows a simple demonstration with two synchronized water sources. Their waves interact and create a pattern with clear lines where the water stays still, a visual effect that happens when the waves cancel each other out.
