CONcISE DCs present posters at the Image Science Gordon Research Conference

Last week, four CONcISE doctoral candidates, Giovanna Tramontin Carneiro, Shivaprasad Varakkoth, Heberley Tobón Maya and Samuel Ignacio Zapata Valencia, presented posters at the Image Science Gordon Research Conference, held from 26 April to 1 May 2026 at the Renaissance Tuscany Il Ciocco in Lucca, Italy.

The conference brought together international experts from academia and industry to discuss advanced technologies and computational methods in imaging across scales and modalities. With a strong focus on cutting-edge research, scientific exchange and networking, the event provided an excellent opportunity for the CONcISE DCs to share their work, receive feedback from leading researchers and connect with the wider image science community.

Their participation highlights CONcISE’s commitment to interdisciplinary doctoral training and to advancing innovative imaging methods through international collaboration.
